My grandma always 'goes on' about Carr's poultry spice they fed to the hens during the war Rolling Eyes and I thought it was long gone but then i found some advertised on a leaflet - anyone use it/have an idea of it's benefits?

Thanks!

We use Poultry Spice, I can't empirically say what the benefits are, but they don't object to it.

Not much help I know

I did wonder! Mind you is ginger good for birds?

Could there be a theory that if it tastes good with them it will be good for them as a complimentary thing?
You know, save money on dressing the bird later on? Laughing
