Looks like a Bovans Nera to me - and from her behaviour I hope you called her "Digger" Wink

Well remembered Lisa - It is "Digger" indeed. My 2 1/2 yr old twin boy named her prophetically!!! A 30 week old Bovans Nera and the first of our three to come into lay!

Poor thing got a scratch off a bush and has been rubbing it - so she's looking a bit moulted on one side. But it's healing up nicely. And lovely grey tubes coming out of the oven ready patch!

Turkeys love stingy's so dont let them in or you really wont have anything Laughing Our lot have demolished virtually everything where they are allowed. Nice chickens= Nasty garden Laughing

we are lucky veg garden one side of road animals the other but mrs mojo says you are a gardener or a poultry keeper not both in the same area

thank you for the link ~ that really made me smile, It reminded me of my 3 small bantams ~ molly, polly and dolly ~ they used to go into the bottom of one of my larger pots that had a clematis growing out of it ~ left just enough soil for 3 small girls!
