do Appenzellas go broody?
I have 4 girls Olive, Babe, Buzz and Pecky (gold spangled) they are about 3 1/2 years old and have never shown any signs of broodiness.
Although... up until about 3 months ago i did not have a cockerel so maybe they will this spring. Only one has come into lay so far and I've never seen Iolo (the cockerel) tread any of them yet.
this is all new to me so if anyone has any ideas I'd be glad to hear. |

| No, they are the least broody birds I have met. Get a pekin or Silkie in to live with them and deal with motherhood. |
