Apologies - as I don't want to upset anyone. But we have a young rooster from last year's hatch - who is destined for the pot. Only I've never killed anything before (apart from mackerel when fishing)

If there is anyone reasonably local to me - we live between Ware / Bishops Stordford and Harlow who would be prepared to give me a lesson I'd be very grateful.......

Have plucked and dressed pheasants a long time ago - but never done the "deed" before.....

I doubt you will upset anyone. You are being entirely responsible and humane. If you were closer I would show you but you are just too far from me. I hope someone volunteers.

Thanks - I've read the "how to" and Mojo was very clear; but would really apreciate some hands on help - as I'd hate to be less than proficient and may need to cull as an humane emergancy measure one day.....
