They are so cute George....................I want to show everyone my chicks, but grumpy OH won't help me to download off the camera. One of mine has a wonky toe, do you think he'll be okay?

How is the toe wonky? If it is just bent funny, it will stay that way, but will be fine for the chick. I have a few that have issues like that and they still scratch around, perch and walk and run around the farm. |

nothing much happening with the other eggs yet
'Hopefully the Maran's might hatch soon but I'll let you know as soon as there's movement
The last Welsummer hated being all alone in the incubator and wouldn't shut up, so I put her in the brooder with the others (even though it only hatched earlier) and it's really happy now
I think they like the company really, when I moved the others out it went mad chasing around the incubator  |
