Hi LM, Fairy the cow in the pic and her calf are pedigree South Devons. They are dehorned when babies because they have to be housed in the winter.

The Highlands are more hardy and out winter, and by tradition are left horned, although some are dehorned if raised for beef and they are going to be fattened inside.
