don't think that would work either
there is a 'wee breeze' tonight with gusts up to 80mph
If it can move a heavy pallet a tarp doesn't stand a chance Crying or Very sad

today french agi ministre says ...dont panic chaps we have it under control........so this weekend they are going to stage a rehersal/trial/coqup exercise to spot faults i the system................you can see a french agi officer saying" lay still mon poule vous et mort practise s.v.p." ...........better than hello hello for giggles.......more as news breaks.......mojo

That's not good news Mojo. We're all thinking of you. As for Debcats - the guys who put up our scaffolding put a couple of extra boards on top, then tied on the tarpaulin before laying more poles on top of that. It seems to keep it down, although rain keeps collecting in the "dips". Hope that helps

sorry to hear that mojo, but I guess it was expected given the proximity of the latest reports.
Zooey I had exactly the same problem as you with the dips of water. I hadn't used tarps ~ I used heavy duty polythene ~ as it was only for a short length and it had a drop of 12" over 12', but it was a complete disaster! I used to have a huge puddle every time it rained. I really shouldn't say it was a complete disaster as it did do what I wanted in that it kept the rain off the new chicks. It just meant I had to tip it off every day as soon as the girls moved away from it!
