My lovely friendly dexter heifer lost her calf on Thursday, the poor little cow is in a very sad state. Spent all morning yesterday with the vet testing for all sorts of diseases - all we have to do now is wait for the results. Devastated doesn't cover how we feel at this moment. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

No we have another two heifers one of which is still pregnant so we have all fingers and anything else crossed that it isn't anything catching.

I'm really sorry to hear about the calf I know how difficult it can be, I hope the rest of your calves are heathly. Does the vet have any ideas?
