Anyone tried making home made seed pots from newspapers? Seems great from a recycling point of view, and should add a little extra fibre(?) to the soil as they rot down. But I was wondering how well they work (ie do they stay together well enough when watered). I've seen two methods:
around a jam jar one
origami one
Just wondering if anyone else has tried them... |

I saw it spoken about on the downsizer forum... it looks a good way also to keep young fingers busy! |

| I use the inside of loo rolls for sweet peas and beans. They are very good you just plant the whole thing. |

| YEp - I've done it like that too - just always leave seed planting until too late - it's too cold - then it's too late it seems! Got a lot of seeds from last year to plant though! |

I also use loo rolls. Cut them in half. (width-ways - not longways as someone I know did) Brilliant for most seeds and garlic cloves.
