The white tape, I am assuming, is electric fencing. But for foxes, wouldn't you want it down lower??

Methinks it's to keep ponies out as the tape goes round the main field as well.Horses, so lovely yet so destructive to fences.  |

doesn't issy have the dexters in the smallholding section ,you got there first ,looks like chicken heaven .

The Dexters can't seem to see electric wire or green chicken netting and have a tendency to run through it!! The white tape gives them lots of notice of when to stop!  |

And here's the new house i've just about finished ready for my expanding flock.
The roof slides back for cleaning and as it gets windy here I'd struggle handling a large removable panel.
Perches are commercial slats sat over droppings trays, raised 18" from the floor - just the right height to slide over the side and into a wheelbarrow. There's 3 of these trays so I can fit quite a few hens in here.
