| just don't leave your pots where the chickens will find them. I put some plants out to harden off I didn't think the chicks would want them as they were fairly large ~ only to look out of the window to watch them doing tossing the caber with them, plants flying everywhere still in their tiny pots. |

| Apparently you can start things that don't like transplanting inside if you use a drain pipe - when you want to put the seedlings outside you slide the compost and seeds directly into the planting position easing the drianpipe back. If you see what I mean. Never tried it. |
