i found a reciepe for a cake that uses loads of eggs ,
made it last night makes a large cake ,it was in a very old cookery book and i was looking to use up loads of eggs this week
3 oz cornflour
3oz flour
the whites of 10 eggs
1tsp of cream of tartar
2 tsp level baking powder
a pinch of salt Shocked
10 oz caster suger
1tsp vanilla or almond essence
sieve together all dry ingedents
whisk up eggs white till stiff add flavouring to them afold in sugar
then add in the dry stuff and fold in gently
put in lagrish cake tin .must be ungreased
bake in moderate oven for 3/4 of an hour
cover for last 15min with buttered paper ,
should rise to the top of tin and be well browned
if it springs back without leaving a dent then it's done .

ours is all gone this morning ,and you could make icecream with the yolks
suz

and it looks fat free! (though from sugar, not calorie free..) As it says not to grease pan, how is it it doesn't stick? How was it for removing from tin?
