Hi,
this piccie is the crossbred chick, supposed to be partridge silkie ( or so it said on the egg Shocked ) it is 1 day old here,



this piccie is its brothers and sisters (6 lavender pekins) eggs were bought from Ebay - 6 out of 10 eggs hatched, best I've ever done (sorry, the broody ) Laughing

They're lovely, LAVENDER, nice, I might go for that colour next time (oops, quick, hide this thread before Mark sees). Whistle

I have always liked the Lavender - had these last year and got little boys though, so trying again. Must be some girls in amongst that lot surely!! Wink

I have a pekin going broody, sitting on eggs right now, and making funny growling noises Laughing Will put a few eggs under her from in the incubator as its rather full Laughing Wink
