I was born and bred in a city but always wanted to live like I do now, my freinds and family were amazed that I could even think about eating my own. We ate hardly any meat before, now we have lamb, chicken and duck. I still have to put it in the freezer first The first time was horrible it took me weeks to work up to doing the deed then a few months in the freezer, I didn't dare tell the kids the first time we ate home grown meat. Now the kids won't eat supermarket meat and question where everything comes from. I will never get used to 'doing the deed', although it's no-where near as bad as the first time.
