Got a small M&S foodhall only 4 miles from me, but as I'm already skint, I daren't venture inside. If I did I know I'd just have to have those profiteroles!!! Yum, yum. |

Interesting. They looked quite small, but there was a suprising amount of meat on them, and the very rich, meaty carcasses are currently in the pot making stew. The meat was nice, much denser than shop bought chicken, but I wasn't aware of the intense taste. There is plenty left for me to have tomorrow, so I'll try some along with more bland accompaniments, what we had tonight was very rich but enjoyed by all.
Chicken murderer HA!!! |

| Even as a veggie, I have absolutly no problems with this concept, had meat been produced personally and not on mass, my family when i was young would never have converted, though its to late for me , I do support in principal organic free range meat. I dont take on the ethos that animals are only 'there' for us to eat (as though thats all their for) but I certainly accept that we are omnivores and not naturally herbivores... |

I've tried going veggie, always hated the way meat was produced.
I must admit while I like veggie food I also like meat.
Now I have tried home bred, I refuse to eat supermarket meat.
The only meat I do buy is beef which is from the local butcher and is locally produced.
The girls will only eat locally produced sausage and burgers and won't eat chicken nuggets anymore (I was bad and got them to read a write up about how they were made in one of the sunday papers)
My mum refuses to eat my meat
she says it's knowing that it was running around here that puts her off |

Well, at least the poor things didn;t end up cock fighting or anything. I had a taste of some this afternoon, didn;t really have much taste. Have made a lovely soup though, and there is enough to have it again another time |
