Turns out to be a pure bred Kiger Mustang. Shocked Of which I know absolutely NOTHING about the breed. Apparently the grandparents of Knobs came from the wild herd that runs on Steen Mountain. Knobs will not be worth a lot of money, because of the white blaze. I guess Kiger Mustangs are not supposed to have white on them at all.

I can be the proud owner of this fine animal for $750.00. Pretty much the owner of both Tippy and Knobs said that he would like to keep Tippy with me and the pasture rent and feed would be the payment for Knobs.

Plus, someone came to the farm today wanting to make an offer. That will be the 4th person to just show up out of the blue to do this.

Whatcha think?

I was shocked to see Suz appear at my place to go on the horse! Thought Toni was coming with Gizzy, but no!!! Suz has been eyeing up my boys for quite a long time, especially Young Paddy. Giz tells me that she's built several barns, one of them for Y. Paddy for when she's won the lottery and can buy him off us. I got the feeling she's even more in love now.... Laughing

Well...Don has decided to buy Knobs as his own. Talked to Scott the owner tonight. It is a done deal. We will be learning all about the breed and figuring out the best methods for training...as wild horses tend to handle methods differently I guess. Found out tonight that mom is wild, right off the mountain! Shocked No wonder I have such a hard time with her. Mad
