Well, I have now recovered from the shock of learning that i am a now a surrogate cockerel - boobs obviously mean nothing to chickens!
I have decided that i could not bear to let her down so am now fostering this new closeness we have. She loves being picked up and stroked and clucks away quite contentedly. If i try this with the other then i get veritable squawks of and huge amounts of wriggling and flapping!
Will the others start to be more "cuddly" or is it just a personality thing? |
