| I'm new to chucks but after looking about at homes for the ladies i built my own for half the price and twice the size. now I'm planing a bigger one. a few years ago my wife went to a shed place where they build to order we had a 4x4x4 dog kennel for about £50 and it was a lot stronger than most diy store which to me don't look much stronger than a cardboard box. so I'm going to try them again with a spec I've drawn up for my new hen house. |

I am very proud of my 'converted shed on wheels' it was a shabby flaking lop-sided junk store which sides up to my enclosed run when I got to thinking ' with a little tlc, bit of woodstain, new onduline roof, a pop-hole fashioned from my own lily white mitts along with a splendid free-standing perch system I could now enlarge my flock with instant access to their run - and so have!! Summayahs little loveys will soon join my girls and they will move in together in the next week or two!! |
