Mine have fish quite often on a friday night, it's never harmed them yet and they've had it since they were 4 weeks old
(of course, as always in moderation) |

Mine adore parsley going into a frenzy until it's all gone, which is only a couple of seconds. They also love lettuce and when I take it into their run they leap up with much flapping to waist height to grab as much as they can out of my hand before the others get it. I give them soaked raisins, quartered apple, sprouts cut in half and today they had their first banana. I have decided to give them anything that grows above ground raw and anything that grows below ground cooked.
I think I'll try them with a satsuma tomorrow - well it is nearly Christmas ! |

| Mine had baked potatoes for lunch. They were all running round after one tiny piece when there were several other larger pieces just sitting there! |

| But the larger pieces wouldn't have tasted half as good as the tiny piece that one girl had ! |

Mine are funny too. There don't really like veg although they will eat cooked carrots and go wild for tinned sweetcorn. They won't eat corn on the cob and regard it with the deep suspicion usually reserved for the local cats.
They love grapes and flap and jump at me to get them once they know I'm not trying to feed them with nasty green veggies!
I'm still trying lots of different things so I'm sure I'll find out what else they like in time. I'm hoping Summayah's girls will teach my two to be a bit more adventurous! |

| No, LisaLou, you are not hoping summayah's girls...you are hoping your new girls...... To be honest mine eat anything I give them, rice pudding, leak and potato soup, tinned sweetcorn, raw brocolli heads. I do try not to give them too many other things though, it's just when too much has been cooked or I find something lurking that we no longer want. Normally the treat is the corn at night which gets them into the run about an hour before sunset. |
