My thoughts exactly!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Actually it stinks so much I'd be afraid of suffocating them at the moment - perhaps I'd better give it a couple of weeks airing first Rolling Eyes Wink Razz

Put most of it together now - just need to attach the hinges to the roof. So now both me and Tony stink of wood preservative. Phoooeeey!

I must say it's not bad at all. Smaller than the one Tony built Razz and no perch Sad . I also have a minor gripe about the legs I especially asked for but I'm just pleased it's arrived now after all this time.

Planning to 'tidy up' a bit of the garden down the side of the outhouse (my office) where we dump 'stuff that we might need' Very Happy

excellent news about the house. The first one I got smelt of the creosote ~ I left it for about a week I think before I used it with the door and pophole open. I think the professional people can still get hold of the original cresote hence the stronger smell. So what you going to get to put in it?

First we've got to find space in the garden to put it, but I think we'll get along with the chooks we've got at the moment, together with your girls Summayah, and maybe think about some more next year. What I would love to do is hatch some eggs with a broody so it would be good to keep it empty for that. Very Happy

Excellent news Jooles!

I also have a bit of my garden where I 'dump stuff I might need'. What I would ever want to do with a couple of chairs, an old bed frame and a BMX ramp is beyond me although an old coffee table came in handy for providing a perching table in the run for the girls!

I think I will just have to face the fact that I will never be Charlie Dimmock and my garden will always look slightly over-grown and 'interesting'!
