| Does anyone out there do card making? I started about a year ago and have done it in fits and starts when I have time ever since (not to mention space to spread out all my stuff). I mainly do rubber stamping and decoupage but I'll have a go at anything. I'll try and put some pics in my gallery. |

| I do - make most of my Christmas cards and most other cards I send. Use what I have at the time and what takes my fancy when I look in my craft drawers. |

I do too usually. I get a real buzz from it. (I know - I get my kicks in strange ways ) But my stock is running a little low and I haven't had the chance to make any for months now. Getting withdrawal symptoms
I have that urge to make some cards at the moment but I have no space and even less time
I've put some pics in my gallery now |

Your cards are lovely Jooles!
I've dabbled myself. And love doing tea bag cards.
I will have to dig out some pics and post them. |

Cross stitch is where I started. I have loads of cross stitch pictures rolled up and stashed away in drawers because I never get around to framing them Then started doing cross stitch cards for family at christmas time, then discovered cardmaking and found a whole new drain on my bank account |

Most definitely in your dreams George! (mine too actually!) You could sell them on the internet but at £2-£3 each for a couple of hours work (for some of them anyway) it'd take an awful long time make enough to retire, let along millions. Shame that. |

Can you imagine it - I could hold cardmaking lessons in the chicken run every afternoon, just before corn break. Decoupage, iris folding and rubber stamping, better keep them away from the heat gun though |

I always do homemade cards for people - nothing too elaborate though - just drawings! but people liked them so I got to thinking and now they're in my online shop (see website) and selling really well on my craft stall at hemswell!
You're right though, making stick on/cross stitch ones takes way too long. People love my cushions I make, i've sold out and they make a fair bit of profit too but just take so long! Even with a sewing machine... |
