Laughing Wink You may well be exactly right!! 4 of the little blighters returned to base!! They are all in the run together now and sorting themselves out. I just hope when it comes to bedtime the new ones go in the house!!

For the record we have 4 new Orpingtons, Geraldine the Gold Lace, Sybil the splash, Cilla the Black (mmmmm!!) and Hetty the Blue. I have taken some pics but can't remember my name for registering in the gallery or my password!!!!

If they can't find their own way in, you could try a torch in the hen house for a short while to help them find their way in. Lots of peeps say that works!

You could also pick them up and put them through the pop hole, they'll soon learn where home is.
Mmmmm Black (I'm pleased you got a Black) this is my black and I think she's pretty stunning

She is stunning! I did the NannyP way, well WE did, got in and put them through the door. There was some squawking, the oldies up high, the newbies on the deck looking all sorry for themselves!! I hope they settle ok and don't fret too much and get up to roost eventually. They are in danger of being deposited on where they are!! YUK! Shocked

As for pics, I tried, but I can't remember either my user name on the gallery or my password and I can't work out how to put them on here... useless really!! Sad Rolling Eyes

Yup.... they are the biggies!! I thought Gloria, our Buff was big, the Splash is massive and she's only 26 weeks old!!!!

Colin from 2 pots is going to extend our run to double its size, with help from Little Acres. Mind you, they are out in the garden, free to roam from early morning to dusk, they only go in the run before bedtime and sometimes for an hour in the morning!!

To think, when we started looking properly at the end of August we were going to go for an eglu and 2 chucks!! Thing is we can't get any more now, house is full and garden would need to be bigger... and NO, we aren't house hunting!! Wink Rolling Eyes
