Just wanted to be the first to say that I've got a beautiful Buttercup, bought in August at about 15 weeks and now grown up and laying happily, and settled in well with her 5 henny friends. |

Hi KG57,
If you email the pic to me, I can up load it for you. Then go to the Gallery at the top of every page and register. Stephen (admin) will create a gallery space for you and then you will be up and running on your own. |

Hi! Good to hear that someone else has buttercups. I don't know what they are a cross between. Mine is laying really well still despite the cold miserable weather, and she's looking really perky. I actually caught her in mid-lay the other day as I opened the ark door by chance as she was in the nest box and the egg popped out before my very eyes! Wonderful!

This is my buttercup Beatrice, she's bottom of the pecking order and very timid. I've never managed to catch her !

| Isn't she gorgeous! Mine (Abbie) is quite timid but she crouches down when I go near her so it's easy to pick her up (not that she's very keen about it!). I'm amazed you still have some grass left - my hens demolished the grass ages ago! |

| The netting in the background was a temporary measure. They now have the whole lawn enclosed by an electric fence. I'm hoping that they will have a big enough area that the grass will survive but time will tell ! |
