After going on about how good my ice-cream machine was... last night I made up some vanilla mix didn't put it in the fridge as it felt quite cold....put it in machine and it didn't freeze Crying or Very sad

So today I made up some more and put it in fridge for a good few hours.....well it has now been churning for an hour with no sign of freezing Crying or Very sad

I am not sure if maybe the bowl wasn't frozen enough (maybe frezzer setting needs adjusting) or what but I am left with the promise of ice-cream only to be let done again Crying or Very sad

I know it is just food but I have had a busy few days and had even made rhubarb crumble to go with it!

Gina <feeling very sorry for herself>

Gina...what type of milk are you using? The fat free or low fat will not solidify.

Aw, sorry Gina, it's so frustrating and depressing, specially when it fails not once but twice Crying or Very sad

but look at it another way Gina, didn't you want to buy that nice Italian ice crem maker...maybe now you just might have to. Maybe the other one heard you thinking about it and decided to show you a thing or two (or not, as the case may be)
