My mongrel hens are now about 3 months or so old, the nights are getting longer, they go to bed very early and I dont want to install a lighting system - might just as well buy eggs. So - they're pet hens. When they start theyll be no stopping them !! How are the wattle & combs looking ??? One is a speckeldy black, the others are varying from white to half and half RIR - all sisters, mother RIR, the hussy. My camera is still film based, and it costs a fortune to get piccies in suitable nick for PC posting.
