Does anyone know anything about Angora goats, including where I could buy some?!!

I have been looking around the internet and can get general information, but I am struggling to find a breeder.

I would have replied...but felt that the freight costs would be too enormous to even consider. Laughing

Rancher down the road has some that he 'inherited' willing to part with for pennies.

Further information can be obtained from the Secretary of the British Angora Goat Society

http://www.allgoats.com/breeds3.htm

The link includes her address telephone number and email, she will probably be able to help

what george said ,the goat society should be able to help as well don't know the link ,never kept angoras ,just milk goats, although the old english provide goats wool ,i know that there has been a programe about mixing angoras ,english and ferel goats on the west coast of scotland to breed tough goats that live outside and help clear bracken and provide fibre and meat ,wouldn't knopw where you'de find out about in though ,although someone on here would know the right question to ask ,

Ooh! Where? Very Happy

Thank you for the other info - I have been on to the Angora society so we will see what they come up with.

Also looking at angora rabbits too - can make mohair and angora then!
