| we are lucky enough to have lots of windfalls to make apple jelly ....BUT just to make you jealous today we picked kilos of dessert grapes to make apple and grape jelly.......recipe is available if wanted.......mojo |

Polytunnel has been mixed.
The tomatoes were disappointing, wrong varieties I think, we used Nova an Italian bush plum tomato that was supposed to be very vigorous. It turned out it was too vigorous and grew everywhere and was impossible to control. If I tried Nova again I'd probably use it outside where the lower temperature might make it less of a monster. Next year its San Marzano for the polytunnel
Chillis, Peppers, Cucumbers have all been amazing, so much more productive than I expected. The Paprika and the Goats Horns have been exceptionally productive.

Thanks Nigel. I too was surprised how well cucs do and I want to try some outdoor toms next year.
I've still got some chillies and I'm overwintering cape Gooseberries, really delic.
