I have 6 eggs in my incubator. As a novice, I put them in at different stages. The earliest egg is 20 days old and the newest egg is 14 days old. I candled them today and five of them are as translucent as you like, but with a very free-moving air-sac. One of them (16 days old) is completely opaque except for a non-moving air-sac. Any ideas? I can't bear the suspense!!! Arrow Question

Should the air bubble move when you tip the egg?

Presumably if you set 1 egg 20 days ago yesterday, you are likely to get it hatching very soon if it's going to! Very Happy

It's not generally a good idea to set eggs at different times as you will get a staggered hatching which could disrupt the humidity levels for the remaining eggs.

We have never had much success with candling, but if the eggs still look clear at 14 days then they are infertile.

Good luck with any that do hatch & let us have some pictures please! Very Happy
