Can bees be kept in a village garden? How friendly are bees and chickens?

Bees can be kept anywhere there are no rules and regulations associated with them (as far as I know). The problem would be if the became a nuisance to neighbours, then they could get environmental health involved.
Most well kept bees are no trouble. I can take a petrol lawnmower right up to the hive entrance when i mow and they don't bother. My two hives are within 20' of the chickens and they ignore each other. |

| We have one hive, 9 chickens and 5 children. They all live happily together. It is a fantastic experience for the children and we have 2 child bee-suits, so we all go to the hive together to collect honey and do housework! |
