I've just uploaded 2 photos of my chicks and not so chick.
The orpingtons should be blue large fowl ~ what do you think I have boys or girls ~ I thought maybe 2 girls and one boy as the one in the middle has much fewer feathers, in fact only a few on its wings.
The not so chick is a golden silkie ~ I can't work this one out, what do you think it is, boy or girl? If it's a boy does anyone have a home for him?
Thanks for your help ~ sorry I would have put the pictures up here but forgot how to do it. I know its something to do with img, but then I couldn't pick up the address in the gallery ~ if you're here Deb or Stephen can you do it for me and put the 2 pics in here? thanks

I think the one in the top photo, middle, will be a roo. Hard to tell on the one that is not facing the camera. No clue on the bottom photo, but gut feeling says it is a hen.

Thanks mr mojo, you know about as much as me on this subject then?! I think our young friend Ruth has more knowledge in her little finger on sexing chickens than the 2 of us together ~ but I do agree with you they definitely seem to be chickens.
Oh Deb I hope you're right ~ I've been so worried about the silkie being a boy, but it doesn't have the nosey thing ~ it's just flat. I think the middle orp is a boy too, just wanted someone to give me a helping hand.

thanks everyone, I guess I just have to wait for someone to start crowing to be sure. Thankfully the orpingtons seem to mature later rather than sooner.
