Hi, just thought I'd let you know, one of my hens (Limpy) had a similar (unidentified) problem with her leg, (hence the name!!!) and it got better by itself. I mainly just left her alone, (other than making sure she got plnty of food and water) and it came right in the end As for the problem of the squabbling hens, it's good that they've stopped fighting I had this problem once when i introduced new hens, and it got so bad i had to give away the offending hen! (she was REALLY aggressive) but since then things have calmed down. Plus now i have a cockerel, so he's boss!!!!! |

one of mine got a broken foot after it was trapped in a door.
It took ages to heal, for a time I didn't think it would,
He had a limp for ages but now apart from a swelling, which I think will always be there, the limp has totally gone.
Give it time, teabag couldn't walk at first but is now running round limp free |
