I have just got back from work and it is hammering down outside and has been for about an hour. 4 of the birds are sheltering under the house but Gloria the Orp is standing in the middle of the run taking all the rain she can handle!! There is plenty of room under the house and the door is open for them to go inside but she just stands there and she is soaked! Just gone out and ushered her under the house. I take it the others will brave it and go inside when they feel it is bedtime??! I have just been told that she is outside again along with Beryl the Buff laced!! But it has now stopped raining almost. All I know is, let them do what they want, as long as they are able to shelter if they chose, it's okay. I came home from work desperate to see them but was stopped by the heaviest rain we have had since I can remember, I have just spent some time with them and I am over the moon, they are just great!
