My silkies has decided to go broody. Isn't it a bit late in the year for me to start thinking about putting some eggs under her as it'll nearly be october by the time the little things hatch (please tell me its too late, please). Cos if it's not too late then I suppose I could accidently come home with a few hatching eggs from melton if there are any going i fancy. I would obviously have to tell OH that I scratched my nose and accidently bid on them, and um they um wouldn't let me um get away with my mistake and so i was um hounour bound to um pay for them and um well now we've um got them we um really couldn't waste them. What dya recon?

I've got 2 silkies! Had them a few weeks ago off CarolH at the same time as a silver grey dorking called raisin. Above is Marge the one who's broody, The other one is called maggie but shes only about 17 weeks.

PS Shame on the lot of you encouraging me to lie to my OH. I would never do that Wink . "Yes darling they were an absolute steal, they were practically giving them away"
