I may know next to nothing about Chickens, but I DO know something about food. Although not my profession, I absolutely love cooking, just had a party on the Bank Holiday Weekend for friends and neighbours and made everything, pork pies, quiches, pickles, puds, Pates, Loads of things, I have also done gourmet nights at my local pub for 40 people and do dinner parties for people at their own homes. Not bragging, just love to do it, I would love to Work for Ramsey or some such and get 3 Michelin stars for myself!! English and French my faves but do stuff from all around the World, I am taken over by cook books!
Any help needed, ask away and I will try and help. This is Peter not Jackie, she sits back and eats it all!! |

That's really nice of you, and when we have a big PK gathering we'll know who to ask to do the cooking |

Ive been told if you put banana peels under your green tomatoes its supposed to help ripen tomatoes.

I will not ZIP it
If you put bananas in with any other fruit, it gives off a chemical which helps the ripening process. I've also heard that, leaving some ripe tomatoes on the bush helps the others to catch on |
