My light sussex broody sitting in a patch of nettles has actually managed to hatch something
she had hollowed out a nest in the ground and sat on nothing, I took pity on her and gave her some eggs to sit on.
Checked her this afternoon and there are three leghorn x's She's still sat on the other 5, fingers crossed they will hatch as well
considering the horrible weather we have had it's amazing anything managed to hatch
Now I just need the other 2 broodies to hatch

Oh go on, you know you want to, and after all, the ones you have now will all be gone in a few years time, so better start growing on replacements |

Come on Knobby, you HAVE to get those other ones!!!!!! That way they will be full grown by the time I get there for a visit and then I can see how pretty they are! |
