Could the silkies have any Aracuna in them somewhere. The head tuft reminds me of the Shetlands, who have head tufts, could a little bit have got mixed in? Maybe?  |

possibly, but the little silkie's not really old enough to start laying, and the older one lays lovely little creamy coloured eggs on a regular basis. As for the blackbird idea, don't think booster would let them into the nest boxes and it would have a hell of a sore bottie!  |
