I think the scoop is about a tablespoon . It's Garlic powder you want - think it will mix better with the food . As I say I got min from the feed suppliers - it's stuff they have for horses - a 1KG tub was about £4.50
I have a garden scoop which holds about 250g of mash so I just do 8 of those and 2 scoops of the powder and mix well in a tub then I have several days all mixed up ready
I guess if you are using pellets then granules might be better - but someone on the Omlet forum - I think it was Lesley (who was also on PP ) said the powder is OK - just give the pellets a good shake with the powder and it will coat them - she uses an empty Carte D'or container which holds 1 kg I think - you have to empty it first though [/i]

Thanks for the info.
Its a horsey place I was thinking of going, so I'm sure they'll have both. |
