Your funny darlin'! When I come over there, it is going to be one big party...from house to house! No working for this gal. Besides, it looks like Stephen can do the job just fine himself. Wink Razz

I like that stuff you get in cornwall, real icecream you get out with a scoop, is it like that and if not how do you make that sort?

It will be like that, real cream and eggs, so just try it and see.

Yes, a lot more like that, because it's made with cream, rather than milk solids, non-milk fat, lecithin and synthetic flavourings. It makes quite a difference Smile

Right. I'll try it then. My son has an ice cream maker like the ones you have described. I will practice with that first before I invest.

me back again, how long does it take to make the ice cream in your super duper ice cream maker ~ I'm assuming it freezes it as it does it?

The gaggia takes about 25-30 minutes for a full freeze. The frozen bowl sorts (like the Phillips) take around 20-40 minutes, but then usually need to be finished off in the freezer.

aah I see. I was going to get the Phillips from Amazon and then I thought of how many grandchildren and their father are going to come to live close to me and thought maybe I should treat myself to one like yours. When I tried to place an order I hit the fist stumbling block I don't have a credit card only debit card or paypal. I'm in contact with a 'walter' on their site he suggest cod at +3% ~ I don't suppose that's too bad in the scheme of things.
