Weird you lot are, poor hens having gender crisis on a daily basis, I'd not be surprised if it doesn't effect their laying!!!

she's fine today Smile ,the children call all the hens girls and boys names,they don't call the cockerals names except rude one's if they escape all the time although some of them seem to have names,hence deb has a cockeral that the children called kinky .

Excellent name, BTW! Apparently I was going to be called Richard, but they noticed I was a girl - I guess parents weren't so "flexible" in those days Wink Just glad they didn't go for girl name number 2, or you'd be talking to Heidi. Think I would have changed that by deed poll by now Wink Elisabeth was bad enough Laughing

I know where you are coming from. Parents don't seem to consider what affect they have on the children with their choice of names. I'm Lee, of the female variety. I go to meetings and they expect a Mr! Can be fun sometimes though

daughter toni got a job at the farm because they thought she was a boy ,they recon she's better than the lads with the cattle and they want her to stay on full time when she leaves school had to be careful though was going to call her peter now for our second name ennis ,see what i mean ,toni's second name is lee ,
