This could be an expensive day off work, think of all the hens or hatching eggs you could buy for the same money.

It would look nice in the paddock though and it is in need of a good home and its not too old and if the confirmation is excellent and is graceful and fast and...... less than a $1000 and....

Yes Deb best to not look.

Regards George.

It is a mare so, foals in the future, soon offset the purchase price. Remember to check the tyre pressures on your trailer

Deb, you know whether you want to do it, can you afford to do it? Is it something that you are willing to do at the expense of other things? Will other members of your household speak to you if you do? or if you don't? Confused

I am sure you are a sensible woman who will make the right decision. Rolling Eyes Wink

When did you last get the chance of a six year old Morgan mare? Less than $1000, $950 if you barter.

Giggling, no Knobby, that was NOT good enough, but it was cute. Laughing

Geo, well, yes I did spend quite a bit of time on the McMurray Hatchery site last night drooling over the chicks that are still available. You must be a horse person also...lol...knowing full well that 2 foals will completely offset the cost of the mare. Wink

Jakki, sorry you are feeling jealous...but if it helps any, Heather and George actually did a good job of talking me out of it. I am tired. I do work extremely hard taking care of what we do have.

Leebarton, yes I could afford to do it at this moment in time, as I filed an extension on our taxes to complete them yesterday, to find out that we are getting quite the hefty sum back. It was actually the OH who saw the add, started drooling and read it to me about 4 or 5 times yesterday....just incase I forgot.

But then Geo sneaks back in at the end with one of the best points of all.

Ohhhhhhhh, this is agony. But I do think I want the trip over there more than I want another horse to train. Wink
