I am American.
Arkansas is on my list of states to visit as I haven't been there yet. I understand that the Ozarks are beautiful. |

There is no doubt that some people will not vote for Obama because of his colour just as there are those that will vote for him only because of his colour. I think both views are ignorant. I personally haven't heard anyone say they won't vote for him for any reason other than not supporting his policies.
The prez debate is on television as I type.
McCain and Obama are currently dead even in Indiana. |

| This insomniac had to listen to what I would have termed a Q&A session rather than a debate, followed by interminable comment. Worse that when cricket takes over the World Service. |

I must admit to not paying a lot of attention to the US elections at the moment. We are coming up to our General Elections for parliament here and to be honest, I think the polititians are nothing more than a bunch of children - an unruly, misbehaving bunch of children! 'He said this', 'she said that', 'it's not fair', 'she's looking at me funny.....', 'he says I've got horrible teeth (ok that bit is true!)' blah blah blah. I definately think it's time for a new government, and it looks like that will infact be the case, but I truly have no idea which box I'll be ticking this time. Can't stand either of them but I spose there is one I dislike the least. |

I had a wonderful chuckle a while ago, you may or may not know that a "Mirkin" is a pubic wig!
Anyway we all know that Bush could be something similar!
now to the point.....
In an interview with some media types The President of the United States of America said in his usual lazy drawl ... "I'm proud to be amirkin'" ....!!!!! I could go on but fear I would be censored!! |
