After a fair bit of swearing I have spent today making this cloak for my boss's son's birthday next week Just what every 14yr old wants for walking the dog (well, he does at least!)

I would walk the dog dressed like that too

Craig is just my model, the cloak is a birthday present for my boss's son - she asked me to make it.

(Although Craig has taken quite a shine to it, but he would have more subtle colours)

Memories of fighting crushed velvet in that colour for eldest daughter's wedding dress - a mediaeval houpelande with huge swansdown trimmed sleeves.
