I have a light sussex and a couple of wyandottes they are both great birds. Your first birds are always exciting, just wait for your first egg!

similar positing here, I have 21 hens now (I hope) 8 are babies so not laying, one has a baby, one is sitting, two more would like to be sitting, I'm fortunate if I get 5 eggs a day and only one of those is large ~ wheaten maran, the rest are bantams. Making lots of ice cream and lemon curd flew right out of the window after mr fox visited me.
have fun with your new girls
