Mrs White, since her long gap after hatching and raising chicks, is now avoiding Mr White. he didn't do the original damage, but is obviously causing damage to her saddle. I will get a better look tonight, and see what is going on, she hid last night, inm the coop with the mum and 8 chicks
There are saddles on Ebay, but look pretty rudimentary, what do you think?

Actually, I've ordered the canvas...look better made and possible washable. Poor Mrs White  |

No intitials, didn't go that far, and afterall, it would mean another hen would refuse to wear it in an emergency  |
