my lovely small calder ranger elsie was out all day in the garden. we had lit a bonfire to burn garden waste .at the end of the day i noticed that she was limping badly.i put all the chicks up for the night and hoped that maybe she has burnt her foot and we had not noticed hoping that all will be well in few days....just went out to check on them(they are my babies!)and poor elsie had not gone into the house to bed so i watched to see the head of the pecking order waiting in the entrance to attack her so she could not go in.it seems odd that this is happening so soon.I put her in house myself and there was no problem. |

It's sad, and difficult to watch, but it is normal for hens to do this.
Just make sure that she is eating, drinking and not being attacked for prolonged periods, or that there is any blood. |

I have no idea, need a photo to make a guess.
If you think her leg is sore, or has an injury, clean it and spray with antiseptic. |
