My hen, who I've had for a few months now, has a very short toenail, almost like it's been clipped really low. It doesn't extend past the end of her toe. I noticed it about a week ago.
It doesn't seem to cause her any pain or difficulty walking, scratching etc. and there was never any blood. How might this have happened and do I need to do anything about it?
Thanks,
Dan |

| You don't need to do anything. Either she broke it before you had her or it's always been like that, but as it doesn't bother her, don't worry. |
