| can anyone help? we got a RIR cross about 3 weeks ago. she was really thriving - laying, noisy, squared up to the older ones - and won, etc. but now she seems to spend most of the day stood still and quiet. i just offered her some corn and she ignored it. i'm not sure if she's laying now either. any guesses? |

| i suppose so. her feathers look fine at the moment, but a couple of the others are starting to look a bit rough around the edges. so she could be getting ready. do they stop laying too as the egg production has dropped a bit? if so, do they start again and how long does it last? |
