My first two projects, I've never knitted a garment before and the jumper isn't right, but it looks like a jumper at least.
I'm booked in for an intermediate knitting course soon, hope to learn felting and finishing. |

I think the only time I ever knitted was before Jo was born....back then, it was still de rigeur to knit cardigans and things. I started a scarf nearly 3 years ago...I will probably finish it this winter
Well done, I am sure you will improve loads.....what do you hope to make in future? |

What's wrong with the Jumper? looks fine from where I sit? They all look really good. Enjoy your knitting (and never never use a washing machine, I felted a beautiful lace knitted shawl today and I am hearbroken! ) |

Well done Egirl, they look brilliant.
I took up knitting again last year - just practised with fancy scarves, guess what people had for Christmas
i have just bought a gigantic ball of wool for a pattern I fell for when I made the mistake of going to Aberkhan (local material etc mill) for material for covering chair seats. - Didn't find any material |
