I'd love to start again in the New Year, by then we will have, hopefully, moved the growers pens and made it more secure. Will email you when i'm ready - thankyou, i know you have a waiting list.

Your Barnevelder bantams wouldn't happen to lay dark eggs, would they? Question

Beautiful bantams Smile i suppose its just a process of selecting the darker egg layers each year (while keeping the good looks) and breed from them Smile Would take ages though!

I just want to share these pics with you all, taken at the National and when I got home. I am so proud of them both, and they got extra treats when we got home

Lovely chooks - well done!

So looking forward to getting my eggs in spring CIE. I have one from the eggs Andy bought me - bless him - that is now 11 weeks old and out with the other chooks. I am almost sure she is a she as she has no comb or wattles yet - also no sign of pointy feathers on neck or saddle. I will have to make sure I don't breed from her as she has crooked toes on one foot.
