This stuff is the softer kind. It melts in your mouth!

Yes that is the one...mine works brillant and if, as Deb said, you just leave the bowl in the freezer it is always ready to use!

Machines make soft ice-cream like Mr. Whippy but loads better!

The base mix is just as creamy, but with less moisture and more thickening agents added to it so that when you add fruit, which contains it's own added juices, the ice cream will remain firm. Wink

Corn Starch...hmmmm, do you not have that over there? Don't know how to explain it. It is a white floury sort of powder. Used to thicken sauces like you would use flour in a rue.
